In Memorium

"We who choose to surround ourselves with lives even more temporary than our own live within a fragile circle easily and often breached. Unable to accept its awful gaps, we still would  live no other way. We cherish memory as the only certain immortality, never fully understanding the necessary plan."
Irving Townsend

Danny

1976-1990

My mom raised Irish Setters all during my childhood. Danny was born in our home and came with me when I set out on my own in Boston.

Rusty

1995-2005

Rusty was my mom's dog and moved in with her in 2004. He came down with OsteoSarcoma in 2005 and died peacefully at home the day after Christmas. Rusty was a famous counter-surfer and actually stole cookies right out of the oven once!!!!

Niamh

1990-2007

Niamh was a feral cat that was rescued from the streets of Saugus. I adopted her in the winter of 1991, right after I returned to Boston from a six month trip in Ireland. Niamh was part of my life for 17 years, and lived with me in 4 different houses. She was a beautiful cat and is greatly missed.
